Russian Ballet is known for its structure, strength, and beautiful lines. It develops clean foundations—posture, turnout, footwork, jumps, turns, extension, and artistry—through a proven, progressive system. For young dancers, it creates a strong technical base. For teens and adults, it refines coordination, flexibility, and alignment while building confidence and presence.

At MVMNTUM Dance Center, Russian Ballet is taught with disciplined fundamentals and supportive coaching—so dancers improve with clarity, consistency, and inspiration.

What Makes Ballet at MVMNTUM Different

MVMNTUM’s training is built on authentic classical lineage and high-level experience. Students learn from teachers connected to the National Ballet of Armenia, and from Edgar Khachaturov—a former Los Angeles Ballet dancer and a YAGP regional winner, among many other achievements.

This level of guidance matters because great ballet training is:

  • Correct and safe (proper placement reduces bad habits and injury risk)

  • Progressive (students build step-by-step rather than guessing)

  • Performance-ready (musicality and artistry are trained—not assumed)

  • Standards-based but positive (discipline with encouragement)
